• Blepheroplasty

  • Lower¬†blepharoplasty (Eyelids)

    The procedure

Lower eyelid rejuvenation is performed whilst you are asleep either as an isolated procedure or in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures.

  • What does it involve?

An incision is made just below the eyelashes of the lower eyelid, to ensure that the resultant scar is very well camouflaged. The bulging fat behind the muscles of the lower eyelids is either pushed back and small internal stitches used to stop it bulging back again, or sometimes a small amount of the fat is removed and repositioned to camouflage the eyelid bags.

    What are the benefits?

Lower eyelid surgery improves the tired and aged appearance that you feel you may have. It provides a freshness to the eyes and gives your whole face a brighter look.

    Upper blepharoplasty (Eyelids)

    The procedure

Upper eyelid rejuvenation is performed either with you awake as an isolated procedure, or with you asleep, often in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures.

    What does it involve?

Incisions are made following the natural lines of your upper eyelid creases. Skin is removed, often with a section of the underlying muscle. If you have fatty bulges above the inner corner of your eyelids, some of this fat may be removed at the same time, to freshen up the appearance of your eyes.

    What are the benefits?

Upper eyelid surgery gives a freshness to your appearance that other people may find hard to place. It is not uncommon for friends and acquaintances to comment on how well you look afterwards, without being able to work out what has changed! You will look less tired and have brighter eyes after the procedure.
